Tropea tops Italian "best beach" list

Every year Gente, an Italian travel magazine, publishes their list of best beaches in Italy. This year many Calabrian beaches made it to the top 10, topped by Tropea at number 1. It is easy to see why: Tropea is one of those rare villages perched on white cliffs fronted by sandy beaches, stunning views over Stromboli, coupled with famed ospitality and quality eateries around town.
