
6 new routes to Barcelona, Brussels, London, Paris, Stockholm and Trapani
Ryanair, the world's favorite airline, today (4 February) announced six new routes from Lamezia to Barcelona (Girona), Brussels (Charleroi), London (Stansted), Stockholm (Skavsta) and Trapani, operational with the start of summer 2011, and from Paris (Beauvais) for the winter season 2011.
Ryanair will operate nine routes to Lamezia this summer, bringing traffic to Ryanair over 600,000 passengers per annum, helping to support more than 600 jobs at Lamezia.
To celebrate the new routes to Lamezia, Ryanair has made available one million seats at ? 6 for travel to 500 destinations in Europe in late February and March. These posts to ? 6 must be booked on www.ryanair.com before midnight (00:00 h) on Monday February 7. The five new routes Ryanair summer will go on sale Saturday (Feb. 5) and the winter route to Paris will be booked in the coming months as included in the winter schedule 2011.
Ryanair is the preferred airline in the world with more than 1,500 daily flights to 44 bases and more than 1,200 low fare routes across 27 countries, 160 destinations. Ryanair operates a fleet of 262 new Boeing 737-800 and additional orders for 49 new aircraft (not including planned disposals) over the next year. Ryanair currently employs a workforce of over 8,000 people and expects to carry 73.5 million passengers in the current fiscal.

The 22 Italian airports served by Ryanair flights are: Alghero, Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Brindisi, Cagliari, Cuneo, Genoa, Lamezia, Milan Orio al Serio, Palermo, Parma, Perugia, Pescara, Pisa, Rimini, Rome Ciampino, Turin, Trapani , Treviso, Trieste and Verona.
